  I would write a review for 0 stars if I could! This store is neglectful to their animals. I can't tell you how many people I've talked to that have reported this place to the SPCA or the Cleburne Animal Control. The sham about this place is that Cleburne is such a small town that the owner of this store gets wind of every uprising that happens, and they clean up shop just in time for code inspection so nothing ever gets done. The dogs are forced into cages (sometimes 9 or more at a time) and given no food or water throughout the day. The fish are eaten alive with fin rot and internal parasites. The guinea pigs are miserable with mites and many are missing chunks of fur and are peppered with dried blood because of it. The reptiles also have mites! The employee only area in the back has racks and racks of rodents kept in deplorable conditions. The "AKC registered" dogs they sell are mixed breed and lethargic. The employees will get confrontational with you if they catch you taking pictures of their abused animals, threatening to call the police on you. And yes, the complaints about the smell? That place smells like a sewer because it IS. Awful, deplorable place.
